Prodigal:\u00a0 I am at this church and just wondering about the Christian faith.\u00a0 We pass church buildings all the time but what is it about?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 Good question and today I can explain a little bit more about the difference in Christian faith and Islam.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ravi Zacharias in his book Jesus Among Other Gods explains some of the difference.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The teaching of Jesus is clear.\u00a0 No one ought to be compelled to become a Christian.\u00a0 This sets the Christian faith drastically apart from Islam.\u00a0 In no country where the Christian faith is the faith of the majority is it illegal to propagate another faith.\u00a0 There is no country in the world that I know of where the renunciation of one’s Christian faith puts one in danger of being hunted down by the powers of state.\u00a0 Yet, there are numerous Islamic countries where it is against the law to publicly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, and where a Muslim who renounces his or her belief in Islam to believe in anything else risks death.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

See Jesus is truth and love.\u00a0 The truth stands alone without having to be forced.\u00a0 Non truth has to bully and use fear to survive.\u00a0 Jesus never forces us.\u00a0 He loves us too much.\u00a0 He wants a relationship that is based on you seeking Him.\u00a0 Not one of fear and manipulation.\u00a0 Jesus wants to love you and not control you.\u00a0 Jesus wants to have a relationship and not a dictatorship.\u00a0 Jesus wants peace and not fear to be in your life.<\/p>\n

Jesus is different because he is all that He claims to be!<\/p>\n
