One of the fundamental factors leading to the rise of atheism is a perception that belief in the divine does not lead to a morality that is clearly superior to that offered by secular culture.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I know we have all heard it how the morality of the Bible is old fashioned and cannot help us.\u00a0 Let me counter that with the world though.\u00a0 What offers us justice.\u00a0 The court system?\u00a0 Why do you think there has been so much controversy over the years with so many court cases.\u00a0 Is it because the courts are doing a great job of defining and upholding morality without God?<\/p>\n

How about just in our own private worlds.\u00a0 Everywhere you look it is now\u00a0 acceptable to tell “white lies”.\u00a0 When was the last time you were hurt by lies or gossip.\u00a0\u00a0This is\u00a0the morality that is superior in the world.<\/p>\n

The Bible does have answers for this.\u00a0 God states that justice will be served to all.\u00a0 He also tells us that all lies and gossip are not good for us and the world.\u00a0 These are just a couple of things to compare.\u00a0 We could go in more detail though.\u00a0 For right now, lets try to follow the morality of the Bible.\u00a0 The benefit is that it helps keep us from the pit we can make for ourselves.<\/p>\n

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.<\/p>\n
