Me: Hi Prodigal! How are you and what is that building that you are next too?<\/p>\n

Prodigal: I am just wondering around with nothing to do on this day. This is the University of Tampa. These buildings have been around since the late 1800’s and I just like looking at them and watching other people. I like to wonder what are their plans? What are they thinking? How are they feeling?<\/p>\n

Me: You could say that you wonder what kind of quest they are on?<\/p>\n

Prodigal: I could say that, but I am sure you are about to explain why I would say that…<\/p>\n

Me: Of course Prodigal, you know me so well! I was reading in a book about the different paths people take or you could say different quest and I thought I would share for all of us who have our own paths we are walking at this minute.<\/p>\n

“An easy, routine way of life which many associate with stability and security only gives man stagnation. Entrenched routine only spoils man and makes him simple and weak. On the other hand, progressive resistance in life always has the potential to give man progressive strength, and to make man progressively wiser. <\/p>\n

The truth is this: Most if not all the true wisdom of God, the true insight of God, and the true knowledge of God that a man holds in his heart he has learned from resistance and affliction. Resistance makes a man think new thoughts he never asked before. It makes a man beg God for help that he never before realized he needed. These quests, quests of the heart and soul, eventually make a man deeper, wider, taller. Therefore man should fear the easy routine way of life that weakens, but he should welcome the resistance-filled life that strengthens and makes wise.” Randall Arthur in (Wisdom Hunter)<\/p>\n

Some of you are on your on path of resistance right now. Today has seemed extremely difficult. It seems that God has forgotten you and has moved on to listen to someone else. When what God is really doing is growing you. He is growing you for his glory. He is growing you with wisdom from God and not wisdom of men. So today stop looking at the path like men do but look at with God’s eyes. Look at it as the path laid with gold!<\/p>\n

\nThe path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. <\/p>\n
