Me:\u00a0 You know God does that to us sometime.\u00a0 He tells us to go another way.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 I never thought of it like that.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 Yeah, sometimes we have to go another way because the way we are on is about pride.\u00a0 Let me share with you about pride.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 Sounds good to me!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Pride is one of the biggest roadblocks to prayer.\u00a0 When we begin to think we can do things ourselves- when we want to be independent and put ourselves first–we don’t live a lifestyle of surrender to our Lord.\u00a0 And when we think we can handle things ourselves, we begin to stop relying on God and seeking Him in prayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The way you think is right is going to focus on Pride.\u00a0 That is why God stopped it.\u00a0 He wants you to take another road.\u00a0 Seek Him in prayer and he will slowly show you the way.<\/p>\n

And what does the Lord require of you?\u00a0 To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.<\/p>\n
