Me:\u00a0 I think it does.\u00a0 Let me share a list of reasons why I think it does.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This list comes from the book Growing Deep In the Christian Life by Charles Swindoll<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What we think about God.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

—It shapes our moral and ethical standards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It directly affects our response to pain and hardship.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It motivates our response toward fortune, fame, power, and pleasure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It gives us strength when we are tempted.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It keeps up faithful and courageous when we are out numbered.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It enhances our worship and prompts our praise.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It determines our lifestyle and dictates our philosophy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It gives meaning and significance to relationships.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It sensitizes our conscience and creates the desire to be obedient.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It stimulates hope to go on, regardless.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It enables me to know, what to reject and what to respect while I’m riveted to planet Earth.<\/strong><\/p>\n

—It is the foundation upon which EVERYTHING rests!<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are to be reminded of what it means to believe in God and how it does effect all areas of our life!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
