Prodigal:\u00a0 Its a beautiful day, to pause and reflect on the goodness.<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 I agree!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In verses 4 through 7 of 1 Corinthians 13, there are fifteen specific expressions of love, each one magnetic enough to draw people together.\u00a0 Just listen to them:<\/p>\n

Love is patient.<\/p>\n

Love is\u00a0 kind.<\/p>\n

Love is not jealous.<\/p>\n

Love does not brag and is not arrogant.<\/p>\n

Love does not act unbecomingly.<\/p>\n

Love does not seek its own.<\/p>\n

Love is not provoked.<\/p>\n

Love does not take into account a wrong suffered.<\/p>\n

Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness.<\/p>\n

Love rejoices with the truth.<\/p>\n

Love bears all things.<\/p>\n

Love believes all things.<\/p>\n

Love hopes all things.<\/p>\n

Love endures all things.<\/p>\n

Love never fails.<\/p>\n

Look at that climax:\u00a0 “Love never fails.”<\/p>\n

When we summarize these fifteen magnetic characteristics that never fail.”\u00a0 I find five statements that say it all.<\/p>\n

I accept you as you are.<\/p>\n

I believe you are valuable.<\/p>\n

I care when you hurt.<\/p>\n

I desire only what is best for you.<\/p>\n

I erase all offenses.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Love really did not fail did it?\u00a0 That is what I am reminded of when I look into your eyes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Psalm 124:2-5<\/p>\n

if it had not been the LORD who was on our side when people rose up against us, then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their anger was kindled against us; then the flood would have swept us away, the torrent would have gone over us; then over us would have gone the raging waters.<\/p>\n
