Prodigal:\u00a0 It is so beautiful out here!<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 There is beauty all around us, you just have to look for it.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 Sometimes I forget to look for it.<\/p>\n

I will quote today from the book Overcoming Spiritual Blindness by James Gills M.D.<\/p>\n

When we see life as God does, we really see. We begin to see His wisdom, His goodness, and His design, and we begin to trust Him–to depend upon Him.\u00a0 Then, we enter a true, heartfelt communion with the Lord Jesus–a person-to-person relationship that progresses to a vital, impassioned faith.\u00a0 Outside of this enabling light of God, however, we are lost and blind.\u00a0 A great many things can obstruct our spiritual sight and block our vision to a beautiful walk with God.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Walking with God means we have to take time in our schedule.\u00a0 God really likes us to show our love to Him.\u00a0 Love often means time.\u00a0 How do we show love to our spouses and our family.\u00a0 We spend time with them.\u00a0 We make them feel on top of our todo list even if it is for 15 minutes or one hour.\u00a0 The amazing thing is when we do slow down then God will point to all kinds of beauty around us.\u00a0 He is waiting to show that to you today.\u00a0 You just have to spend the time with Him.<\/p>\n

Romans 12:2<\/p>\n

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.\u00a0 Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.<\/p>\n
