Me:\u00a0 You’re diggin’ your own grave with a spoon.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 Well I will try not to get to close.<\/p>\n

I wanted to share today from the book I have a Friend Who’s Jewish Do You?\u00a0 by Don Goldstein<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

First of all, many rabbis who have studied independently have become believers in Yeshua.\u00a0 Have you ever heard of Rabbi Daniel Zion?\u00a0 Probably not, yet he was the chief rabbi of Bulgaria during the Holocaust.\u00a0 He saved hundreds of Jewish lives during that tragic period in our history.\u00a0 A hero, yes?\u00a0 In fact, he was so highly respected by the Orthodox leaders in Jerusalem that in 1954, he was offered the position of judge in Jerusalem’s Rabbinic court.\u00a0 So why do you never hear about him?\u00a0 He was never accepted the position because he was a believer in Yeshua and would not renounce his beliefs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the yeshivas, when the students are studying to become rabbis, they are not allowed to study the prophets without a rabbi there to explain what they are reading.\u00a0 Furthermore the studying is focused on other rabbis’ commentaries (Talmud, Mishna, Targums, Midrash).\u00a0 The sad fact is they believe the commentaries that previous rabbis wrote (by human wisdom and interpretation) are actually more important that the written word of G-d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Only God has ultimate wisdom and not man.\u00a0 Man’s best day can not out do God at any given moment.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
