Me:\u00a0 Those are some wise words in that prayer Prodigal.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 I agree it is important for us to always turn to prayer.<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 I will share with you some wise words from the book Dropping Your Guard by Charles Swindoll<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Life breaks down not so much because of the terrible things that happen to us.\u00a0 Life breaks down because so few good things have happened to us.\u00a0 Just a few along the way can be like branches we can cling to as we climb up a mountain trial.\u00a0 No matter how steep the ascent, we can make it, if from time to time along the trail someone communicates to us that he or she love us and therefore we are important.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have friends who listen to me patiently and even laugh at my bad jokes.\u00a0 I have leaders in the church who spend time \u00a0trying to shepherd and speak God’s truth in my life.\u00a0 I do not thank them enough for all they are teaching me and how they are encouraging.\u00a0 Then there is my loved ones who love me even in my worse days.\u00a0 My worse days wear them out and yet they try to bring me happiness.\u00a0 Life would be a dark alley that is cold and dreadful without y’all.\u00a0 You are all in my heart in this moment.<\/p>\n

And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.<\/p>\n
