Me:\u00a0 Hi Prodigal!<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 I am just deep in thought and trying to seek wisdom and discernment from the Lord.<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 I will share with you some wisdom.<\/p>\n

This is from Martin Niemoller a Lutheran pastor in Germany in the 1930’s<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In Germany they came first for the communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a communist.\u00a0 Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.\u00a0 Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t\u00a0 speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.\u00a0 Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.\u00a0 Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is difficult to speak up at this time.\u00a0 You don’t want to get involved but at times we are called to get involved.\u00a0 God will show you the words to say with compassion, but you have to be obedient in speaking the truth.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 55:7<\/p>\n

Let the wicked forsake his way, and unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.<\/p>\n
