I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him:\u00a0 I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept His claim to be God.”\u00a0 That is the one thing we must not say.\u00a0 A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher.\u00a0 He would either be a lunatic–on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg–or else he would be the Devil of Hell.\u00a0 You must make your choice.\u00a0 Either this man was, and is, the Son of God:\u00a0 or else a madman or something worse.\u00a0 You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God.\u00a0 But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher.\u00a0 He has not left that open to us.\u00a0 He did not intend to.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Is Jesus the Son of God or something else?<\/p>\n

How are you treating Jesus today?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And a leper came to Him, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying to Him, “If you are willing, You can make me clean”<\/p>\n
