Prodigal:\u00a0 Ok, you caught me, maybe I am having a party.\u00a0 I just didn’t want to hurt your feelings.<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 Lying is still a sin Prodigal.<\/p>\n

I will share from Tim Chester’s book You Can Change<\/p>\n

Sowing to the Spirit means saying yes to whatever strengthens our Spirit-inspired desires.\u00a0 As we’ve seen , we sin when we believe lies about God.\u00a0 Sowing to the Spirit means filling our hearts with the truth about God.\u00a0 We sin because sinful desires matter more to us than God.\u00a0 We sow to the Spirit when we cultivate our love for God.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can believe God today because He loves you and He loves me.\u00a0 We do not have to follow lies even if they do not sound harmful.\u00a0 Lies always hurt relationships even if that relationship is just between you and God.<\/p>\n
