 <\/p>\n

Paul is keeping our hope where it ultimately belongs–in Christ.\u00a0 This life, friends, is not really about you and me at all.\u00a0 It’s about God’s glory expressed through us.\u00a0 In this waiting room, God promises sanctification, a pattern of God-glorifying overall spiritual growth brought about by the power of his persistent grace.\u00a0 But in this life he does not promise to subdue every sin, strengthen every weakness, create unbroken harmony in your marriage, or cure every ailment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If God fixed everything on the list you have now, don’t you think you would just make another list?\u00a0 Then another list, and another after that?\u00a0 What’s the end of that process?\u00a0 Perfection, which we don’t get in this life.\u00a0 That’s why we wait.\u00a0 Perfection is coming.\u00a0 Perfection will arrive when the Son of God returns and we dwell with him in the new heavens and the new earth.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is a tough day isn’t it.\u00a0 No, your life isn’t perfect but you would just like the landslide of problems to stop for just an hour.\u00a0 Well, you may get mud all over you ,but you will make it.\u00a0 You will stand after this and God will be praised after.\u00a0 I am with you.<\/p>\n

Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.<\/p>\n
