Me:\u00a0 Wait one second, before you leave to start they day I wanted to share something that may help you with the people you are dealing with.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 Sure, I need to be focused today on the right thing.<\/p>\n

Do other people’s failures annoy or challenge you?<\/p>\n

Do you “use” people, or cultivate people?<\/p>\n

Do you direct people, or develop people?<\/p>\n

Do you criticize, or encourage?<\/p>\n

Do you shun or seek out the person with a special need or problem?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The sadness of these is when someone chooses to “use” people.\u00a0 It has made my heart weep with a despair when I see this.\u00a0 The people who are being used at times are so insecure.\u00a0 They just want that someone, that comment, that something that proves their worth instead of their identity in Christ.\u00a0 Then someone comes along very selfish and just uses them.\u00a0 In the end it is an ugly game.\u00a0 Both people are miserable but do not know why at times and in the process that leads each other further from Christ.\u00a0 Don’t use someone no matter how small it may seem.\u00a0 You never know if this will start down a long path that is very far from both of your walks with the Lord.<\/p>\n

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone.<\/p>\n
