Gills, M.D.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We surrender to God, not out of duty, but out of love.&nbsp; &nbsp;We love Him; we embrace Him with our whole being.&nbsp; And we seek His presence in our lives.&nbsp; We week an intimate relationship with Him.&nbsp; God save us through His grace to make us like Jesus Christ, and He wants us to desire what He wants.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>So the path of transformation must include fervent desire.&nbsp; We must desire to be transformed; we must desire to be more Christ-like.&nbsp; We can&#8217;t just know in our heads who Christ is and how to be like Him.&nbsp; We must have desire in our hearts.&nbsp; That fervency transforms us.&nbsp; We love God and are in love with Him!&nbsp; We&#8217;re overwhelmed with thanksgiving and joy because our hearts are filled with love for the Person of Jesus Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our focus and our love at times can be misunderstood as crazy and foolish but then again the bible is full of people that seemed crazy and foolish and it really worked out for them and it really glorified God!<\/p>\n<p>And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him.<\/p>\n<p>Mark 1:10<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer Van Allen<\/p>\n<p>www.theprodigalpig.com<\/p>\n<p>www.faithincounseling.org<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Me:&nbsp; Are you ready for the day?
