Me:\u00a0 I am actually going to share about houses today.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 I am ready.<\/p>\n

You understand why religion was invented.\u00a0 It was to keep God at a safe distance.\u00a0 I used to believe that all the religions of the world were men reaching our for God.\u00a0 It isn’t.\u00a0 All the religions of the world are there to keep God at a safe distance.\u00a0 You see, man knows there’s a God, but he’s scared spitless of Him, so he’s got to keep Him away.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So I know what we’ll do…we’ll build a God-house and put Him in there!\u00a0 So we have the “house of God.”\u00a0 That’s got Him off my back.\u00a0 If He’s in His house, He’s not in mine!\u00a0 We’ll give Him a certain day.\u00a0 That’s it, we’ll give Him one day.\u00a0 That gives me six.\u00a0 I’ll give Him times.\u00a0 We’ll have hours of prayer.\u00a0 That means I won’t have to pray all the time.\u00a0 Religion says, “Spend fifteen minutes in prayer everyday.”\u00a0 That gets Him off your back.\u00a0 Fifteen minutes.\u00a0 You’ve got the other twenty-three and three quarters.\u00a0 Right?\u00a0 Keep Him at a distance.\u00a0 See, I know He’s there, but keep Him at a distance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I tell you what we’ll do….we’ll employ people full-time to talk to Him.\u00a0 Then I don’t have to, see.\u00a0 Religion.\u00a0 \u00a0All religion is like that.\u00a0 I’m not joking.\u00a0 Religion keeps God at arm’s length from man.\u00a0 And now religion is uneasy.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 Because the God they’re supposed to represent has really turned up among them.\u00a0 And they’re very upset.\u00a0 God has escaped!\u00a0 He got out of the house!\u00a0 And He’s walking among them, and He doesn’t fit at all what they thought He was like.<\/strong><\/p>\n

God escaped!\u00a0 Don’t worry this is going to be fun!\u00a0 \u00a0The Lord and our path will be guided by His light.<\/p>\n

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have no see, and yet have believed.<\/p>\n
