Me:\u00a0 Howdy Prodigal and Happy.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 I have been trying to talk with Happy but he has been ignoring me.<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 Well Happy is deaf and can’t hear you.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 Why is Happy deaf?<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 He was born that way.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 Why did God make him deaf?<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 Well that is a why question to God.\u00a0 Phillip Yancey is one who can give the best answer I believe.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Perhaps God keeps us ignorant because we are incapable of comprehending the answer.\u00a0 Maybe God’s majestic non-answer to Job was no ploy, no other way or dodging questions; maybe it was God’s recognition of a plain fact.\u00a0 A tiny creature on a tiny planet in a remote galaxy simply could not fathom the grand design of the universe.\u00a0 You might as well try to describe colors to a person born blind, or a Mozart symphony to a person born deaf, or expound the theory of relativity to a person who doesn’t even know about atoms.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We always want to know “why” don’t we.\u00a0 We always want to know where this is leading don’t we.\u00a0 We always want the whole picture in front of us so that we can determine if this a good plan or a bad plan.\u00a0 God doesn’t work that way so sometimes our “whys” are not answered.<\/p>\n

See at some point in our Christian walk we have to be ok with the no answer to the “whys”.\u00a0 We have to say God knows and he loves me and I am going to submit.\u00a0 We don’t get answers we want.\u00a0 Our lives 5 year plan is not given to us.\u00a0 We still move forward though.\u00a0 See because when we are following God.\u00a0 It is not just about us.\u00a0 We are making an impact on so many others who are watching.\u00a0 We don’t usually know who we are making an impact on, but we truly are.\u00a0 That is why my decisions must be made on God leading me and not on what I see with my eyes at the moment.\u00a0 Or what my plan looks like.\u00a0 See God is working all around us, he just doesn’t show us how he is working around us until after we have submitted to the following.\u00a0 Don’t focus on the “whys” of today.\u00a0 Focus on God right now and trust in his leading!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

God will instruct me and teach me in the way I should go.\u00a0 He will guide me with His eye Psalm 32.8<\/p>\n
