Me:\u00a0 Sometimes loving others is hard.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 I know.<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 We have to push through, and love.\u00a0 The Lord can help us.<\/p>\n

This is from the book\u00a0 Voices of the Faithful by Beth Moore<\/p>\n

As usual, the disciples did not get it.\u00a0 Earlier, Jesus had promised that He would be with them on their journey.\u00a0 Although they had taken no money, clothes or weapons, all their needs had been provided.\u00a0 While He was with them, no harm could touch them.\u00a0 But now Jesus was saying that He was about to be taken away from them, and they did not understand it.<\/p>\n

Just as promised, Jesus was killed within a few hours of speaking those words.\u00a0 He lay in the grave three days, but He rose from death.\u00a0 Shortly thereafter, He sent His Holy Spirit to live in us.\u00a0 We now have the assurance that God will protect us, providing for us regardless of where we are or how things look.<\/p>\n

The most incredible experience of my life was going on a nine-day trip to find a group of fanatical Muslims\u00a0 I took nothing but a Bible and another book.\u00a0 I went intending to rely totally upon the kindness of strangers and promises of God.\u00a0 \u00a0The Lord really came through for me.\u00a0 I was the first foreigner who spoke their language ever to visit them.\u00a0 They have heard the gospel now and want to learn more.\u00a0 If God’s promises did this for me, He will most certainly be there for you!<\/p>\n

May the Lord be with you today.\u00a0 May you love those who are difficult to love.\u00a0 May you forgive others.\u00a0 May your light blast the darkness around you.\u00a0 God is with you!<\/p>\n
