Me:\u00a0 Yes, but the focus is if Christ died for our sins, and we are saved by faith.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 That is the best focus.<\/p>\n

Don’t be afraid of the world.\u00a0 You have nothing to fear from the world.\u00a0 Christ has already told you He has overcome it.\u00a0 Engage it.\u00a0 Understand it.\u00a0 Know why people think the way they think, what they care about, what they’re afraid of, what makes them laugh, and what keeps them up at three in the morning.\u00a0 Remember the first Bible verse you ever learned:\u00a0 “For God so loved the world. ”\u00a0 God does love the world, and the sign of a God is to love the things He loves.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not be afraid of the church, in what she described as ” all of its multi-hued, chaotic, messy glory.”\u00a0 Get to know believers of other stripes,\u00a0 there will be days when you think, God has no standards and no taste.\u00a0 Other days, of course, this is what gives you hope for yourself.\u00a0 Instead of being fenced in behind denominational boundaries and caught up in theological squabbles, do not be afraid of other worship styles or different denominational norms.<\/strong><\/p>\n
