LUKEWARM PEOPLE say they love Jesus, and He is, indeed, a part of their lives.\u00a0 But only a part.\u00a0 They give Him a section of their time, their money, and their thoughts, but He isn’t allowed to control their lives.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.”\u00a0 Jesus replied, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”\u00a0 He said to another man, “Follow me.”\u00a0 But the man replied, “Lord, first let go and bury my father.”\u00a0 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”\u00a0 Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good bye to my family, “Jesus replied, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:57-62).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Lord is testing you and wants you to give up control of everything.\u00a0 Trust Him.\u00a0 He has a plan but you have to have faith. He needs to work behind the scenes and you will not be able to see what is going on.\u00a0 This means your faith and trust in the Lord will be your obedience.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.<\/p>\n
