Me:\u00a0 It might be nice to swim in but don’t keep that type of attitude.<\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 I need help with that.<\/p>\n

Me: I can share with you some encouragement.<\/p>\n

This is Crazy Love by Francis Chan<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“All these commandments, I have kept since I was a boy,” he said.\u00a0 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing.\u00a0 Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.\u00a0 Then come, follow me,”\u00a0 When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was a man of great wealth.\u00a0 Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!\u00a0 Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God”\u00a0 Luke 8:21-25<\/p>\n

Lukewarm People think about life on earth much more often than eternity in heaven.\u00a0 Daily life is mostly focused on today’s to-do list, this week’s schedule, and next month’s vacation.\u00a0 Rarely, if ever, do they intently consider the life to come.\u00a0 Regarding this, C.S. Lewis writes, “If you read history you will find that the Christians who did most for the present world were precisely those who thought most of the next.\u00a0 It is since Christians have largely ceased to think of the other world that they have become so ineffective in this.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If we don’t think about hell, we are not sad that the person we are talking to is going there.\u00a0 Sometimes eternity has to be the focus so that we share the gospel more.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sanctify yourselves, therefore, and be ye holy:\u00a0 for I am the Lord your God.\u00a0 Leviticus 20:7<\/p>\n
