Prodigal:\u00a0 I fell, and now I am down and discouraged.<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 We all get discourage now and then.\u00a0 We all run low on hope.\u00a0 I do have some encouragement for you though.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Prodigal:\u00a0 Please tell me because I am in need of it today.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Charles Swindoll in his book Hope Again tells how to cope during these times.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Two words will help you cope when you run low on hope:\u00a0 accept and trust.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Accept<\/em> the mystery of hardship, suffering, misfortune, or mistreatment.\u00a0 Don’t try to understand it or explain it.\u00a0 Accept it.\u00a0 Then, deliberately trust<\/em> God to protect you by His power from this very moment to the dawning of eternity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Why did God allow this to happen to you?\u00a0 How many times have you asked God that question?\u00a0 I know it is hard to accept.\u00a0 Why can’t it be different?\u00a0 We just have to accept at this point.\u00a0 Maybe you tried to accept but you need to keep accepting it for the rest of the week.<\/p>\n

Then remember that we can trust God.\u00a0 We trust God in the hardship.\u00a0 We trust God when we can’t understand.\u00a0 We TRUST GOD.<\/p>\n

Take a penny and look at it.\u00a0 What does it say?\u00a0 Trust in God.\u00a0 Put it in your pocket and look at it everyday for next 7 days.\u00a0 Trust.\u00a0 That is your next step.\u00a0 TRUST.<\/p>\n
