This is from the book Joy in Christ’s Presence by Charles Spurgeon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His voice produced this calm. It is said that if oil is poured upon water, the water will become smooth. I suppose there is some truth in this statement, but there is all truth in this: if God speaks, the storm subsides into a calm, so that the waves of the sea are still. Our Lord Jesus only has to speak in the heart of any one of us, and immediately “the peace of God, which passeth all understanding” (Phil. 4:7) will possess us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amen Lord! We look around and there is sadness all around us and somethings that seem hopeless. Lord all we do is call out to you. In that moment in time, no matter how much darkness there is, you bring a bring light to our soul. Our soul is flooded with the love and peace of who you are! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
